Selam is a research and program management specialist with years of practical working experience leading projects on health, agriculture, gender/ adolescent girls, climate change, media, and communications over the years. She has extensive experience working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a smooth relationship with partners, donors, government officials, and the senior management team.
Selam has a solid track record of using research, analysis, strategic planning, and negotiation skills to successfully implement projects. Selam invested most of her time in managing and evaluating development communication projects focusing on raising awareness and bringing social behaviour changes. Over the years she worked with Addis Ababa University, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, BBC Media Action, UNICEF, and Technoserve. In her free time, Selam enjoys traveling and taking pictures.
